Igor Stromajer travaille dans le domaine de l’art Web depuis 1994, année où il crée son domaine, un laboratoire d’art Web : Intima Virtual Base. Ses oeuvres ont été présentées lors de plusieurs événements, tels que COMTECart 99 à Dresden (1999), Trash Art in Moscow (1999, 2000), Transmediale 99 à Berlin, Medi@terra 99 à Athènes, SIGGRAPH 200’ Art Gallery à Nouvel Orléans, Pro&Contra - Machinomachia à Moscou (2000).

Stromajer a remporté le premier prix pour son projet Web zvrst3 à Trash ART à Moscow (1999) et le 3ième prix à Extension Competition à Hamburg (1997) organisée par Hamburger Kunsthalle, Spiegel Online / Spiegel Special et Philips. Depuis 1997, il est également artiste en résidence à Ars Electronica à Linz.

Igor Stromajer works in the field of web art since 1994 when he created his domain, the Net Art Lab, Intima Virtual Base. Stromajer is winner of the 1st prize for intimate net art project zvrst3 at Trash ART in Moscow (1999) and the 3rd prize at the Extension Competition in Hamburg (1997) organized by Hamburger Kunsthalle, Spiegel Online / Spiegel Special and Philips. He is also An Artist in Residence at Ars Electronica in Linz since 1997.
