Cultural and educational activities

The educational and cultural activities offered by CIAC - Centre international d'art contemporain de Montréal are geared towards all age groups.

CIAC approaches art as a practical tool for experiencing and understanding the different realities that surround us. In order to satisfy the particular needs of all publics, CIAC offers specially-designed activities for all groups.

CIAC's Department of Cultural and Educational Activities mandate is to offer captivating, high quality and interactive activities based on contemporary art and the theme of La Biennale de Montréal 2011 (BNL MTL 11), Chance. CIAC's educational philosophy is based on a deep respect for the public, and the encouragement of discussion and creation in a collaborative manner.
