In 2010, it is almost inconceivable to imagine efficient communications strategies without a certain visibility in the social networks. And La Biennale de Montréal - BNL MTL is no exception to the rule. Since last summer, it can be found on Facebook, Myspace and Vimeo. In fact, on October 18th, only two months after its creation, the Facebook page had an approximate number of 1 000 members.
In order to thank their supporters, CIAC gave away free products from the Biennale to the 100th and the 500th members.
The 1 000th person to join the webpage received a work of art by Emmanuel Galland, entitled Mauvaise Définition, produced in 1999.
While waiting for May 2011, La Biennale de Montréal - BNL MTL has given itself the goal to increase its friends awareness towards the cultural events happening in the visual arts of Québec, Canada and the rest of the world, on its Facebook profile. This presence allows the CIAC to publish a variety of information concerning the previous editions of the BNL MTL,as well askeeping in touch with the artists who had taken part in the project.
We invite you to join the BNL MTL 2011 community on Facebook and visit its Myspace page as well as the Vimeo account.
