Call - Curator for La Biennale de Montréal 2013

The CIAC - Centre international d'art contemporain de Montréal is putting out a call for curators and artists to act as Curator of the 8th BNL MTL 2013, to be held from September to October 2013.

Interested candidates should send a letter of intent and an exhibition project proposal before November 11th, 2011.

BNL MTL is an international biennal of visual arts and related disciplines. It usually showcases thirty artists, half of whom come from outside Quebec and Canada. The curator must propose a project relating to current visual arts in this country and elsewhere. At this point, there is no need to present a complete report of potential artists for the exhibition. Nevertheless, the proposal of a few names would give us an idea of the project’s direction.

Curator selection will be made by a jury to be held in late November 2011.
