Rober Racine

 Les Pages-Miroirs, 1980-1995
December 7, 1995 - January 8, 1996

Rober Racine's exhibition Les Pages-Miroirs (The Mirror-Pages), 1980-1995, constitutes the most complete presentation of this corpus of works of more than 1600 pages. Rober Racine was born in Montréal in 1956, where he lives and works.

Les Pages-Miroirs, which took fourteen years of work, were formed from pages of the Petit Robert dictionary, from which words were taken, leaving a mirror which reflects the image of the observor. To this is added a long work of codification which transforms the dictionary into a literary, musical, and visual work. The artist is represented by Galerie René Blouin in Montréal.
